1. Is there a cost to register? | back to top

There is no cost to register. When you sign up, you receive a free Pay-Per-Minute account loaded with 20 mintues. Then you'll have the option to upgrade your account to a monthly pay package. You can see the benefits of each of the packages here. A Pay-Per-Minute account lets you purchase minutes to view our vast library of movies. You're also able to preview short clips, up to three per day, of our movies.


2. When I click on a button to watch a movie, why do I see a pop-up window appear and disappear? | back to top

This is probably due to software designed to block pop-up windows interfering with the launching of Windows Media Player. You will need to either disable pop-up blocking or add www.adamevevod.com as a "trusted site" that is allowed to launch pop-up windows. The Google Toolbar pop-up blocker will prevent this site from working unless you disable it entirely.

4. I was able to watch a movie before but now it won't play. I keep getting an error message. What gives? | back to top

This is a side effect of caching on your PC to speed up your browsing experience. There are two work-arounds that you can use to resolve this issue:

Disable Caching

  1. At the IE menu bar, select Tools
  2. Then select Internet Options
  3. Then at the middle of the pop-up, in the Temporary Internet files section, select Settings
  4. At the top of the pop-up, change the “Check for newer versions of stored pages:” to “Every visit to the page”
  5. Then press ok on the pop-ups

Clean up the cache

  1. At the IE menu bar, select Tools
  2. Then Internet Options
  3. Then at the middle of the pop-up, in the Temporary Internet files section, select “Delete Files”
  4. Then press "OK" on the pop-ups

5. I'm not able to preview movies. What's up with that? | back to top

Currently our system allows you to watch up to six minutes of previews per day. For example, since all of our movies have a two-minute preview, you'll be able to watch up to three complete previews per day.


6. How does Pay-Per-Minute work anyway? | back to top

We have a variety of minutes packages that you can purchase. So when you make a purchase, those minutes are added to your account. Then you can choose to watch a movie, or any part of a movie, using your minutes. The various minutes packages are described here.


7. How do I change or cancel my package? | back to top

To cancel your package, please contact customer support by emailing us at support@adamevevod.com or by using our online contact form. To change your package, simply visit the Buy Time page and choose the new package you would like. Your old package will be prorated and your new package will take effect.


8. I just canceled my package but now I wish I hadn't! What can I do? | back to top

9. When I try to view a movie, I get a message that the 'license is invalid.' How do I correct this? | back to top

Assuming that you are running a PC and not a Mac (Mac use currently not supported), let's try to get you up and running:

Please start by checking the time and date of your machine and make sure that it is correct for your timezone.
If the time is ok but the issue is not resolved, try restoring your Media Player and Internet Explorer settings to default and follow these steps.
  1. Remove any Spyware from your machine (if you do not already have a good antispyware program on your computer SpyBot Search & Destroy is a free download from Safer Networking at http://www.spybot.com, make sure TeaTimer is enabled when you install)
  2. Be sure that any file sharing programs (iTunes, Napster, emule, bittorrent) are turned off.
  3. Try the DRM Reset Utility offered on the Netflix site by clicking here: http://www.netflix.com/pages/previews/resetdrm.exe (or copy and paste the link into your browser). If the reset utility does not work please contact Customer Service for additional instructions.

10. I'm using Windows 7 with Media Player 12 and videos won't play. Is there a fix? | back to top

When you first attempt to play one of our videos, Windows Media Player 12 (WMP) will require the installation of two security updates. Please follow the instruction provided by the WMP dialogs and WAIT for the initial setups to complete before attempting to play the movie on the WMP playback window. While the setup is in progress the video will not play.
